The first steps

First and foremost I wish to welcome everyone who may read my blogs!
I am not a very good blogger and hope to improve my skills along the way!

Last year I had to fill in a form on which we could choose which country we wished to go to for our mandatory minor abroad. At first, I chose to go to Albany, New York, USA by myself. Unfortunately it seemed impossible to arrange so I had to consider a new destination.
As I started thinking and searching, a new spot opened in Liverpool!

So, therefore, this will be my personal diary for the time I will spend in Liverpool!
I am going to Liverpool in January with Suzanne and I am really looking forward to it.

We had some trouble getting all the forms filled in because apparently some form of miscommunication between the HAN and Hope. Eventually we had everything sorted out, but we were still two full weeks late with sending the forms!

Then today I came home from intern and I checked my email, as I do every day, and there it was: an email from Hope university saying we had been accepted and we even have our student numbers which means we can apply for accommodation!
It’s great knowing with certainty that we are going there in January and will be staying until June!!
